Spring Cleaning!

So I have not been on facebook since Monday (other than a quick post about church) and I have so been enjoying it....I know, it's sad, but I guess I didn't realize how much time I was spending on there! I would usually sit and "facebook" while I was nursing Joy, but then she'd fall asleep and some days I'd just sit there until she woke up. These last few days I realized how much I could get done during her little naps! :)

I have been busy getting our school room ready for next year...and yes, I know I still have 4 months! I'm just a little excited. It is going to be so cute! I have also been enjoying (and I do mean enjoying) deep cleaning the house. There is nothing more exciting than throwing things away....it makes me happy! :-) It is nice to get the clutter out of the house! 

It is also nice to get the clutter out of our lives. There are so many things we can do to waste our valuable time! TV, Facebook, reading, etc...just so many little "fun" things that can start as 20 minutes to ourselves and turn into a huge time waster! Now, I don't know about you, but I have no extra time to be wasting!! Yes, I am a stay at home mom, but that doesn't have to be a stay at home, (on my butt) mom. There are a bajillion better things I can be doing with my time. Cleaning, cooking, laundry, dishes, schooling, teaching my 4 precious children about the Lord, praying, Bible reading, church work...I really could go on and on! So, after my only 4 days off of facebook, and feeling like a new woman, I will be mindfully spending much less time on there in the near future!
